About Mini Salad Cake Recipe

Yes its a salad that look like cake!!! :ok_hand:invented by the japanese this version of salads are fun to make as well as delicious.

Mini Salad Cake

Ingredients to make Mini Salad Cake

  • 200g cream cheese
  • 3 tblsp mayonnaise
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup grated cabbage
  • 1 cucumber(sliced)
  • 1 tblsp chopped sring onion greens
  • salt as per
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

How to make Mini Salad Cake

  1. Trim the bread slices from all sides.
  2. Roll with a rolling pin to flatten bread slices.
  3. Whip cream cheese along with mayonnaise until soft and fluffy.
  4. Add in salt and pepper in grated carrot and cabbage respectively.
  5. Now place two slices of bread side by side on a tray.
  6. Place a layer of grated cabbage.
  7. On top of it spread the chopped pineapples.
  8. Now spread a layer or grated carrot.
  9. Place the other two slices of bread on top and cover evenly on all sides with the mayonnaise and cream cheese mixture.
  10. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and cucumber slices.
  11. Keep in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  12. Enjoy your chilled salad cake.

My Tip:

You can use any vegetable of your choice for the salad as well as for garnishing
