About Egg Flan Recipe

Flan is a type of egg custard.

Egg Flan

Ingredients to make Egg Flan

  • Milk 1 kg.
  • Custard powder 2 tbsp
  • sugar 4 tbsp
  • eggs 2
  • Vanila essence 4-8 drops
  • sugar 2 tbsp for caramelising

How to make Egg Flan

  1. Boil milk for 15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl take some milk and add custard powder.
  3. Put it in the boiling milk .
  4. Add sugar.
  5. Stir it continuously.
  6. And switch off flame .
  7. Add vanila essence.
  8. Put it aside.
  9. In another pan add sugar.
  10. Allow it for caramelise.
  11. On low fame.
  12. Pour it an another pan .
  13. Let it dry or set.
  14. As Prepared custard become cool, add 2 eggs and mix it or blend it for a while.
  15. And pour it in (pan in which we set caramlized sugar )pan.
  16. Now put it for steaming.
  17. It will take 20-25 minutes
  18. And the yummy flan is ready.
  19. Now keep it in fridge for chilling.
  20. Serve chilled.

My Tip:

Be careful while caramelising the sugar, since sugar burns fast.
