Karachi biscuits

Ingredients to make Karachi biscuits

  • all purpose flour 1.5 cup
  • Vanilla Custard powder 4 tbsp
  • A pinch of salt
  • cardamom powder. 1/2 tsp
  • Unsalted butter 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • pineapple essence 3/4 tsp
  • Milk. 3 tbsp
  • Tutti fruitti. 1/2 cup

How to make Karachi biscuits

  1. First take bowl. Mix the flour, custard powder, salt and cardamom powder and set aside.
  2. Take butter or ghee and powdered sugar in bowl and beat in one direction either by hand for 10 min or by hand mixer.
  3. Add vanilla or pineapple essence and milk and mix well.
  4. Add above mixer in the flour mix and after that add tutti fruitti.
  5. Mix evenly to form a dough.
  6. Divide the dough into 2 parts and make logs out of it.
  7. Wrap these roll by cling sheet tightly overnight or minimum for 5-6 hr. In refrigerator.
  8. Now take the chilled dough roll and cut into round cookies around 1/4 inch.
  9. Preheat the oven at 350 F ,now place the cookies on baking tray and bake at 350 F for 20 min.
  10. Remove from oven and let them cool completely and enjoy with tea.
