Hot and tangy soup. Which is actually first time made by americans by blanchings tomatoes.

Tomato soup

Ingredients to make Tomato soup

  • tomatoes 500 gm cut into cubed
  • onion 1 medium finely chopped
  • Beet root 1 small cut into roundals
  • carrot 1 small cut into roundals
  • potato 1 medium cut into cubes
  • garlic 8 to 10 pieces finely choppef
  • bay leaf 2
  • Black pepper corn 8 to 10
  • sugar 1 tbsp
  • black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • water 3 cup

How to make Tomato soup

  1. Heat pan ad butter. When heatedad bay leaf, pepper corns to it.
  2. Ad garlic and saute for few seconds. Ad onion and cook for seconds.
  3. Ad in beet root, carrot, and potato and cook for minute.
  4. Now ad tomatoes and cover the lid.cook for 10 minutes. Let it cool and blend in puree form.
  5. Seive the puree to get smoother texture.
  6. In same pan cook tomato puree with salt, sugar, and 3 cups of water.
  7. Cook until 10 more minutes. Sprinkle black pepper powder.
  8. Serve with dollup of cream and bread.

My Tip:

You can roast the bread as it is needed. Bt my family like as it is.
