ABOUT spicy mexcian pasta RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For The Salsa 2 tsp oil
  2. 1/4 cup chopped onions
  3. 1/4 cup chopped capsicum
  4. 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  5. 1 tsp chilli powder
  6. salt and to taste
  7. Other Ingredients 1 tbsp oil
  8. 1/4 cup chopped onions
  9. 1/4 cup chopped capsicums (red and yellow)
  10. 2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
  11. 2 tsp dry chilli flakes
  12. 2 cups cooked penne
  13. 1 1/2 cups white sauce
  14. 2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
  15. salt and to taste
  16. 1/2 cup grated processed cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. Add the capsicum and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  3. Add the tomatoes, chilli powder, salt and pepper, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. Keep aside.
  4. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  5. Add the capsicum, cumin seeds powder and chilli flakes and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  6. Add the pasta, white sauce, coriander, salt and pepper and mix well.
  7. Pour the pasta in a greased baking dish, spread the prepared salsa on top and spread it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 15 minutes
