About Hot n sour Chinese Potato Silks Recipe

An authentic chinese way of cooking potatoes with some spices. It is an easy recipe that can be prepared under five minutes.

Hot n sour Chinese Potato Silks

Ingredients to make Hot n sour Chinese Potato Silks

  • potatoes - 2
  • Dry red chilli - 2
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Chopped garlic - 1 teaspoon
  • Soya sauce - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black vinegar - 1/4 teaspoon
  • butter - 2 teaspoon
  • salt - to taste

How to make Hot n sour Chinese Potato Silks

  1. Peel the potatoes and shred them to thin silvers.
  2. Heat a pan with butter. Add chopped garlic red chillies green chillies and stir well.
  3. Add shredded potatoes. Stir fry them for some minutes.
  4. Add vinegar and soya sauce. If needs add some drops of water.
  5. Stir fry them for about a minute and now hot and sour potato silks are ready.

My Tip:

Large potatoes are very suitable to shred into long thin silvers. You may white vinegar too for a clear colour.
