A delicious healthy bowl of assorted veegtables usually served with meat or egg, here iam making a vegetarian version with only vegetables and bibimbap sauce . Bibimbap in Korean means , assorted seasoned vegetables mixed with rice and meat or egg.

Bibimbap ( Korean veg ) assorted mixed vegetables with steamed rice .

Ingredients to make Bibimbap ( Korean veg ) assorted mixed vegetables with steamed rice .

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup thinly chopped spinach
  • mildly seasoned bean sprouts about 1/4 cup
  • 2 small carrots washed , peeled and thinly julienned.
  • 1/4 cup of bell peppers , red, or yellow all cut into thin strips
  • 1 /2 tsp fine sea salt .
  • . 3 cups steamed rice
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup seaweed , thinly cut or any greens like kale
  • To prepare Bibimbap sauce - 2 tbsp gochujang sauce ( bought )
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

How to make Bibimbap ( Korean veg ) assorted mixed vegetables with steamed rice .

  1. Method 1. wash all vegetables , wipe dry , thinly slice each one into long strips.
  2. 2. Mix bibimbap sauce ingredients in a bowl
  3. 3.add some cooking oil in a pan and separately sautee each vegetable with a sprinkle of salt and soy sauce , sprinkle toasted sesame seeds. remove and set aside .
  4. Mix the Bibimbap sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  5. in a bowl arrange all sauteed vegetables, and the steamed rice, add the gochujang sauce ,bibimbap sauce , mix and enjoy .
