ABOUT Korean Tofu noodles ( veg ) RECIPE

A delightful plate of mildly spiced Korean Tofu noodles

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 tbsp saesame oil
  2. 1 cup organic firm tofu
  3. 2 tbsp honey
  4. 1 green pepper thinly sliced .
  5. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  6. 1 pack whole wheat spaghetti noodles
  7. 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  8. salt to taste
  9. 2 garlic cloves minced
  10. 1 tsp red chili flakes
  11. 3 tbsp gochujang ( Korean chili paste )

Instructions

  1. cook noodles according to pack of instructions by boiling in a pot of water. drain and keep aside .
  2. in a small skillet add the soy sauce, honey , vinegar , garlic and gochujang paste . allow to simmer and keep aside .
  3. cook the thinly sliced pepper on high heat to stir fry ., keep aside .
  4. with a tbsp of sesame oil , sear the tofu cubes on a non stick pan, and keep tossing till tofu is browned well .
  5. i a plate mix the noodles, the sauce that we prepared , and the stir fried bel pepper, add in the eared tofu cubes, toss gently . sere with scallions , sesame seeds
