About Turkish Carrot Truffles Recipe

Turkish carrot truffles is sweet delicacy made by boiled pureed carrot cooked in sugar till thick. Then made tiny balls and rolled over coconut or pistachio .

Turkish Carrot Truffles

Ingredients to make Turkish Carrot Truffles

  • Medium size carrots 7
  • 1 1/2cup sugar
  • 1cup desicated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 table spoon coconut /pistachio /or cashew to roll truffles

How to make Turkish Carrot Truffles

  1. Peel and wash carrots .
  2. Boil them in a cup of water in pressure cooker.
  3. Keep aside for cooling.
  4. Puree the carrots without water .
  5. Heat the puree with sugar on medium to low flame for 20minutes
  6. Add vanilla essence , cinnamon powder ,cashew powder ,coconut powder .Cook for another 2 - 3 minutes.
  7. Take out the mixture in a plate and set aside for cooling.
  8. When the mixture cool down completely .make lekin size balls from the mixture .
  9. Roll the balls in desicated coconut .
  10. Keep in fridge in air tight container for 7 to 8days .
  11. Enjoy
