About Caramel Kulfi Recipe

Kulfi is well known as the chilled Indian dessert, I have added a fusion to mine with a homemade caramel sauce, this sauce can easily be made with sugar and butter.

Caramel Kulfi

Ingredients to make Caramel Kulfi

  • 1/2 cup - Caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup - Heavy cream
  • Few chocolate chips

How to make Caramel Kulfi

  1. Take a pan, add the milk and bring it to a boil, once it starts boiling, add in the caramel sauce.
  2. Switch off the heat and remove the pan from the stove. Next add in the condensed milk to this caramel sauce flavoured milk and set aside. Let this cool down.
  3. In the mean time, put the heavy cream in a bowl and beat it continuously till it forms soft peaks.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk mixture to the cream and whisk until everything is finely blended.
  5. Put a few chocolate chips into the popsicle moulds.
  6. Carefully pour the mixture into the popsicle moulds to the brim and place them in a freezer overnight.
  7. The next day, take out the popsicle moulds and run hot water over them, then slowly remove the kulfi pieces.
  8. Serve it chilled as a dessert after a meal.
