Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm Mutton
  2. hung curd 100 gm
  3. ghee 100 gm
  4. hard boiled eggs 2
  5. potato whole peeled
  6. rice 1 cup
  7. ginger garlic paste 1 tspn
  8. salt
  9. onian chopped 2
  10. biriyani masala 2 tspn
  11. red chilli powder 1 tspn
  12. Kashmiri chilli powder 1/2 tspn
  13. rose water 2 tspn


  1. soak biriyani rice for 30 minuets
  2. make a marinade of curd ginger garlic paste red chilli powder salt biriyani masala Kashmiri red chilli powder
  3. put mutton in this marinade. keep it in fridge for 30 minuets
  4. in a hevay bottomed pan add ghee add onion make them brown add Mutton cook it well add spices .add eggs and potatoes add water and cook till mutton done
  5. in a separate pan boil water add rice with a pouch of whole Garam Masala Cook till rice don 1/3 rd
  6. now aarange layers of mutton and rice . first mutton then cover it with rice pour 2 tspn ghee on top
  7. keep it on low flame add rose water close the lid and seal it . keep on dam for 5 minuets
