Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken (Whole) - 1 PC (800-900 gm)
  2. Ginger Paste - 1.5 Teaspoon
  3. Garlic Paste - 1.5 Teaspoon
  4. Cumin Powder - 2 Teaspoon
  5. Tandoori Masala - 2 Teaspoon
  6. Lemon Juice - 2 or 3 Tablespoon
  7. Yogurt - 200 Gm
  8. Melon Seeds Powder - 3 Tablespoon
  9. Red Chili Powder - 1.5 Teaspoon
  10. Turmeric Powder - 0.5 Teaspoon
  11. Edible Red Color - 1/4 Teaspoon
  12. Kasuri Methi (Fenugreek Leaves) - 1 Tablespoon
  13. Salt - To Taste
  14. green Chili Paste - 1 Teaspoon
  15. Onion - 1 PC (Chopped)
  16. Boneless Chicken - 250 gm
  17. Raisins - 50 gm
  18. Almonds - 50 gm
  19. Cashew Halves - 50 gm
  20. Egg - 1 PC (Boiled)
  21. Edible Oil - 3 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Marinate the whole chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, lemon juice, 1 Teaspoon red chili powder, 1Teaspoon Tandoori Masala and Turmeric, Powder. Marinate it for at least 2 Hours. Longer the better.
  2. Take the boneless chicken and chop it using a chopper. Take a small pan and heat 1/2 Tablespoon of Edible Oil. Add Chopped Onion and Saute it. Add the remaining ginger and garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add mince to the mixture and cook for about 5 minutes until the chicken is almost cooked. Add the dry fruits to the mixture and cook until oil separates. This chicken mince will be used to stuff the chicken.
  4. Now again take the marinated chicken. Take the boiled egg and remove the shell. Place it perfectly near the neck of the Whole chicken.
  5. Stuff the previously cooked chicken mince and tie the legs close to the chest of the chicken so that it is perfectly packed. Use threads and toothpicks for this purpose.
  6. Slightly BBQ the chicken for 10 minutes on charcoal or desi stove tandoor from oil sides.
  7. Take a big pot add 2 tablespoons of oil in heat. Add ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, remaining red chili powder, tandoori masala, red color and kasuri methi to it. Cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Add the stuffed chicken to the mixture and add 1/2 cup water. Cover the pot and cook until the chicken is done.
  9. Change the side carefully and occasionally so that it gets cooked properly on all sides. Be careful that the mince doesn't come out.
  10. Remove the stuffed chicken out of the pot when it is done. Take another small pan, add oil to it and fry the melon seeds powder in it for a while. Now to thicken the gravy add this fried melon seeds powder to the remaining gravy.
  11. Let it cook until the oil floats and the forms a thick paste. Keep the stuffed chicken in a big tray and pour the thick gravy beside it. Your mesmerizing Chicken Raj Bhog is Ready to serve.
