About Patiala chicken Recipe

This is a delicious recipe from punjab , a yummy and spicy chicken curry to be served with some roti on the side.

Ingredients to make Patiala chicken

  • chicken leg pieces - 10
  • curd - 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • shahi garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • sliced onion - 1
  • butter

How to make Patiala chicken

  1. Marinate the chicken with rest of the ingredients except the onion and butter, keep aside for 5-6 hours.
  2. Then heat a pan with butter, add the chicken pieces and fry for couple of minutes, then lower the flame.
  3. Add the sliced onion and cook until the chicken is done or tender enough. Then add little water for the gravy, bring upto boil and serve hot with naan or roti.
