Ingredients to make Mutter panner

  • Panner 250 gm
  • Green peas 250 gm
  • 4 tomatoes medium size
  • 2 onion medium size
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Fresh cream 1/ 4 cup
  • garlic 6to 8pods
  • ginger small piece
  • green chillies 2
  • bay leaves,2
  • cinnamon 1piece
  • Dhainya jeera powder 3tsp
  • turmeric 1/2tsp
  • red chilli powder 2tsp
  • sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 1to2tsp
  • Kasturi methi. 1tsp
  • cashew nuts 2tbsp
  • oil 3tbsp
  • ghee 2tbsp
  • oil for frying panner
  • salt as per taste

How to make Mutter panner

  1. In a pan take 2tsp oil fry chopped onion, garlic pods, ginger,green chillies, cashew nuts for few minutes add chopped tomatoes salt cover & cook till tomatoes turn soft .when cools down grind in a mixture to smooth paste add 1/4 milk instead of water..grind well
  2. In a khadai add 2tbsp ghee &2tbsp oil bay leaves, cinnamon stick, add dhaniya jeera powder, haldi powder,LAL mirch powder,fry on slow flame for few seconds.Add grinded paste..fry , cover andcook on slow flame till oil separates
  3. Add garam masala and fry for few seconds..
  4. Add boiled peas ,fried panner and mix well adjust salt and water for consistency cover and cook for few minutes
  5. Add crushed kasturi methi,cream and cook for for few minutes..
  6. Serve hot with naan or roti and ring onions

My Tip:

If u don't have cream add very little water for consistency..add milk instead.. after cooking it will give u a richness
