About Kurkure Parwal(Crispy point gaurd) Recipe

Parwal I think very few of us must be knowing medicinal value of Parwal. Parwal is very healthy vegetable is used to make several Ayurvedic medicines. Me and my family are not so found of Parwal but due to medicinal value we get this at home. Today I thought of making it in different way and tried this amazing recipe. Must try and enjoy this either as snacks or as side dish

Kurkure Parwal(Crispy point gaurd)

Ingredients to make Kurkure Parwal(Crispy point gaurd)

  • Marination:-
  • 500 gm Parwal
  • chilly Powder- 2 tsp
  • turmeric Powder- 1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder- 1 tsp
  • cornflour- 2 - 3 tbsp
  • ginger Garlic Paste- 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil to fry
  • Garnishing :-
  • curry leaves- a sprigs
  • Green chillies- 2 - 3 slit long and deseed and apply salt inside the chilly

How to make Kurkure Parwal(Crispy point gaurd)

  1. Scrape parwal very lightly, do not remove the whole skin, wash and cut in to round shape.
  2. Mix above all ingredients given under Marination except oil. Mix well and set aside for 5 mins
  3. Now deep fry parwal until crispy. Remove from stove and set in tissue paper to remove excess oil
  4. Now in the same oil fry green chilly and curry leaves until crispy. Remove from oil and mix with parwal.
  5. Serve hot with Rice or just eat this as snacks
