About Chicken Manchurian Dry Recipe

When it comes to Chinese most of us prefer to eat Manchurian no matter its veg or chicken we truly enjoy the taste of tender and little tangy flavor of Machurian, today I have made Dry Chicken Manchurian and this was demand from my father in law and my daughter. So here am sharing my version of Chicken Machurian

Chicken Manchurian Dry

Ingredients to make Chicken Manchurian Dry

  • Boneless chicken- 500 gm
  • garlic- 8-9 cloves chop in round shape
  • ginger- 1 inch pieces cut length wise very thin
  • onion- cut in to 4 peices and remove all the layers and keep it seperately
  • capsicum- cut in to square pieces(Optional)
  • Spring onion- chopped finely
  • Corn flour- 2 tbsp + little extra for gravy( for gravy mix corn flour in hot water and set aside)
  • Whit flour- 2 tbsp
  • egg 1beaten
  • Soya sauce- 2 tbsp or little more according to your taste
  • sugar- 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder- 2 tsp
  • green chilly- 2 nos chopped finely
  • Greenchilly paste- 1 tbsp
  • chicken stock or Veg stock - 1 cup ( I have used veg stock)
  • Chilly vinegar- 1 tsp
  • Ajinomotto- 1 tsp
  • salt as per your taste
  • water for making stock
  • oil for frying and cooking

How to make Chicken Manchurian Dry

  1. Clean and wash chicken properly and remove all excess water. Drain completely and set aside
  2. Take a bowl and break one egg and whisk properly, add black pepper powder, soya sauce, salt and mix well now slowly add corn flour and give a quick mix, mix it well and then add white flour and mix it again until everything mix well.
  3. Now squeeze chicken pieces and add in to the egg and corn batter and mix well.
  4. Heat oil and add this pieces and fry until it turns dark brown in color.
  5. Remove from oil and place it in tissue paper
  6. Now remove extra oil and keep aside and in the same pan leaving some oil for frying our Veggies.
  7. In the same oil fry garlic, ginger, green chilly and onion pieces fry for 2 mins and then add capsicum pieces fry for another 5 mins and then add half of the spring onion and salt mix well
  8. Add ajinomoto, soya sauce, Greenchilly sauce , pepper powder and little vinegar mix well and cook and 2 more mins
  9. Now add Chicken or veg stock in to it and allow it to boil for few minutes, now add corn flour paste and mix well allow it to boil for 1 mins and then add fried chicken pieces and cook until gravy dried out
  10. Serve this yummy manchurian as starters or with any kind of drinks for parties
