Gatte ki sabzi

Ingredients to make Gatte ki sabzi

  • Besan( gram flour) 2 cup
  • yogurt 1 cup
  • onion 2
  • ginger I inch
  • garlic cloves 8-10
  • Tometo chopped 1
  • chopped green chilli 1-2
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 /2 tsp
  • hing 1 pinch
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • fennel seeds 1 /2 tsp
  • pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • bay leaf 1
  • Green cardamom 1-2
  • Black pepper 5-6
  • Garam Marsala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Pavbhaji Marsala 1 tsp
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil

How to make Gatte ki sabzi

  1. take a bowl put gram flour red chilli powder, Salt ,fennel seeds., chat masala powder 1 tsp oil and little amount of water to make a dough
  2. apply ghee in hand and take some portions of dough and roll it in cyllandrical shape
  3. take a pan put water and boil it now put roll and cook till they flots ,this will take approximately 5 to 7 minutes remove roll from water and cool down and cut in small round piece
  4. heat a kadai put oil and fry the gatte and keep aside
  5. now take a pan put oil heat it and add bay leaf, cumin seeds black pepper stire it
  6. now add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilli and onion paste stire well now add turmeric powder chilli powder coriander powder and chopped tomato stire well
  7. cook for 4-5 minutes, add pavbhaji masala garam masala , curd stire it
  8. oil start separating from masala ‎now add gatte and salt , stire well cook 3-4 minutes
  9. add kasuri methi and mix well
  10. Now add warm water and cover with lead and cook 5,-6 minutes
  11. gatte is ready add pepper powder ‎garnish with chopped coriander
