Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. • Left Over Chapatis / Rotis – 5 Nos
  2. • White Chick Peas – ½ Cup
  3. • Garlic Cloves – 2 to 3
  4. • Boiled & Mashed Potatoes – 1 Cup
  5. • Grated Carrots – 3/4th Cup
  6. • Green Peas - Few
  7. • Grated Onion – 3/4th Cup
  8. • Red Chilli Powder / lal mirchi – 1 tsp
  9. • Garam Masala – 1/4th tsp
  10. • Salt – 3/4th tsp
  11. • Asafetida / hing – 1/4th tsp
  12. • Fresh Coriander Leaves / dhaniya
  13. • Water as required
  14. • Oil to deep fry
  15. • Green Chillies for garnishing

Instructions

  1. • In a blender take, left over Rotis furthermore, add soaked White Chickpeas and Garlic Cloves into it and grind into fine powder.
  2. • In a mixing bowl, add the blender mixture.
  3. • Then add boiled and mashed potatoes, grated Carrots, Green Peas and grated Onion in the bowl.
  4. • Add all the spices Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala, Hing and Salt in the mixing bowl.
  5. • Then add fresh Coriander Leaves and mix well knead like a dough.
  6. • If required add few drops of water and make cylindrical rolls out of it.
  7. • Heat the Oil in a pan, add rolls into it, and deep-fry the rolls until golden brown.
  8. • Make sure do not add all the rolls together in heating Oil, this can break the rolls while frying so just add 2-3 rolls at one time and deep fry.
  9. • Remove the rolls on kitchen towel and serve hot with Tomato sauce or Mint chutney.
  10. • Served as snacks and garnish with Green Chillies.
