Ingredients to make Ati karare

  • potatoes 3-4
  • rock salt to taste
  • chilly powder 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp
  • mint chutney 1 tbsp
  • tamarind chutney 1 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp

How to make Ati karare

  1. Wash, peel and chop the potatoes in thick cubes .
  2. Deep fry the cubes in hot oil and when half done , take them out , press the fried cubes lightly with the tissue paper on board .
  3. Again deep fry these pressed cubes till golden brown, drain out in a bowl .
  4. Add rock salt , chilly powder, lemon juice , mint chutney , tamarind chutney and fresh coriander and mix well .
  5. Serve hot with toothpick .

My Tip:

Be careful while pressing the potato cubes as it will be hot .
