Ingredients to make Onion rings

  • onion -1
  • maida or all purpose flour-4 tablespoon
  • corn flour-3 tablespoon
  • breadcrumbs-1 cup
  • pepper powder-1/2 tablespoon
  • red chili powder-1/2 tablespoon
  • salt - as per taste
  • oil - required amount

How to make Onion rings

  1. ingredients
  2. First rinse and cut the onion into 1/4 inch slices.
  3. carefully separate the rings .
  4. Take a bowl and add maida, corn flour, 2 tablespoon of bread crumbs, pepper powder, red chili powder, and salt. mix all the ingredients well.do not add water now.
  5. coat the onion rings in to the flour and keep it aside.
  6. Now add the water into the flour mixture and make a thick consistency.Now dip the onion slices into the flour mixture until they are all coated well.
  7. spread the bread crumbs on the plate place the rings into the crumbs and add some on the top of the ring to cover all the area.
  8. once coating all the rings refrigerate the rings for 10 minutes.
  9. Heat the oil in a kadai once oil is hot add the onion rings and deep fry rings for 2-3 minutes or until get golden brown.
  10. Now the crispy and tasty onion rings are ready. Serve with Tomato sauce.

My Tip:

Instead of using corn flour use 1 or two eggs and beat well then add maida in to the egg then coat all the rings.
