About Paneer Parcels Recipe

These multi layered parcels are a medly of flavours beginning from soft creamy paneer then spicy potato masala followed by crunch from spinach. They are delicious, colourful, presentable and very impressive. These beautiful parcels will soon be your family's favourite.

Ingredients to make Paneer Parcels

  • 250gms of fresh paneer
  • 2tsp chaat masala
  • For potato layer
  • 3-4 small boiled and peeled potatoes
  • salt
  • 1tsp red chilli powder
  • 1tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1tbsp chopped green coriander
  • 1tsp cumin powder
  • 8 - 10 big sized spinach leaves
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • salt
  • 1tsp carom seeds
  • water as needed
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Paneer Parcels

  1. CUT 250 GMS COTTAGE CHEESE INTO 1/2 INCH THICK SQUARES
  2. SPRINKLE 2 TSP CHAT MASALA, COVER & KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  3. TAKE 3-4 BOILED & MASHED POTATOES, MIX IN ALL THE INGREDIENTS
  4. PRESS DOWN 1 TSP POTATO MIX ON ONE SIDE OF THE COTTAGE CHEESE SQUARES
  5. WRAP EACH PIECE WITH A SPINACH LEAF LIKE THIS
  6. GET ALL THE PARCELS READY
  7. TAKE 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR, ADD 1/4 CUP RICE FLOUR, SALT & 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS
  8. ADD SOME WATER, WHISK INTO A THICK & FLOWY BATTER
  9. DIP THE READY PARCELS IN THE BATTER, DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP, SERVE HOT
