Chicken-Dalcha, a delicious curry from Hyderabad, to be served with some rice on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken 1/2 kg
  2. Bottle guard 1
  3. Fine chopped methi 15 stick
  4. Fine chopped palak 15 stick
  5. Fine chopped pudine
  6. Fine chopped corainder
  7. Fine chopped Ambadi leaves 15 stick
  8. chopped onion
  9. Chopped Tomatoes
  10. Ginger garlic coriander green chilly paste
  11. Small 2 bowl Arhar ki dal
  12. 1tbspn red chilly powder
  13. Itbspn kadalasun masal
  14. 1tbspn garam masal
  15. 3 tbspn haldi
  16. 7 to 8 big spoon oil
  17. 1 tbsp Shahi Jeera
  18. salt as per taste


  1. Firstly keep cooker on gas add Arhar dal add 1 1tbspn haldi salt ginger garlic green chilly coriander(green paste)1tbspnclose the lid give them 4 whistle.
  2. Secondly marinate chicken with 1tbspn haldi 1tspn green paste salt keep aside for half an hour
  3. Thirdly wash all leaves pudina meethi palak Ambadi coriander chopped it very finely.keep aside.similarly chooped 3 tamatoes and 3 onion.
  4. Cut bottle guard in horizontal shape like to our first finger shape boil it by adding salt and haldi
  5. After 4 whistle let cool down cooker
  6. Heat large vessel add 5 big spoon oil let them heat than add some shahi jeera chop onion let turn transclulent than add chop tamatoes till they get soft.than add green paste again fry it till aroma come out than add 1tbspn red chilly powder coriander powder kadalasun powder haldi also 1tbspn than add marinated chicken fry it well close the lid let them cook for 15 min..
  7. After 15 min all oil will realise from side than add Boiled Arhar dal mix it well than add finely all chop leaves and add Boiled Bootle guard also let them boiled for for 25 min again if necessary add water 1 glass. It depends on dal consistency
  8. Finally garnish with chooped corainder serve with white biryani rice.
