About Daal tadka Recipe

Tadka daal is a popular and favourite dish of all. It is too yummy that can have with rice, naan ,roti.as we know that daal is full of protein.

Daal tadka

Ingredients to make Daal tadka

  • 1 cup arhar daal
  • 1/2 cup dhuli moong daal
  • 1 tomato
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 large chop onion
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cardmon
  • 2 broken dry red chilli
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp haldi
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Kasoori methi
  • coriander leaves

How to make Daal tadka

  1. Soak daal and boil in cooker
  2. Add tomato, haldi
  3. When daal boil whisk it
  4. And add spices
  5. Cook on gas
  6. Now heat ghee in kadhai
  7. Add jeera hing
  8. And other dry ingredents
  9. When they roast add garlic cloves
  10. Ginger and onion and saute
  11. When onion cook add tomato
  12. And daal mix all of them and add kasoori methi
  13. Then add lemon juice
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves
  15. Now heat 1 tsp ghee in pan
  16. Add some haldi and red chilli powder and top daal with it
