Tried first time on baking breads. The awesome pav which goes with vada,bhaji n mumbai famous pav bhaji.


Ingredients to make Pav

  • maida 2 cups
  • yeast 7 gm pouch
  • Milk 3/4 cup
  • sugar 1 tspn
  • butter 1 tbspn
  • Some milk for brushing

How to make Pav

  1. In warm milk add sugar and yeast. Let it sit until it becomes foamy for about 10 mins.
  2. In a bowl take maida,add 1 tspn salt. Mix it. Then add the yeast mixture. Mash it for about 5 mins. In between adding butter.
  3. Grease a bowl with oil put this in that. Cover n keep in some warm place.
  4. After 45 mins it double in size. Make small balls. Place it in a greased baking tray.
  5. Again cover and keep it in warm place for about 35 mins. Let preheat the oven at 370 F.
  6. After 35 mins,brush with some milk lightly. Place it in microwave for baking.
  7. After it's done brush butter. Your yummy soft pav ready.
