ABOUT Mutton curry. RECIPE

A simple mutton curry. Goes well with rice or any rotis.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton 600g
  2. Onion 3 medium , sliced.
  3. Tomato 2 big
  4. Garlic paste 2 tsp
  5. Ginger Paste 1 Tsp
  6. Coriander powder 4 tsp.
  7. Chilli powder 2 heaped tsp. Or according to taste.
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Garam Masala 1 tsp
  10. Pepper powder 1 tsp.
  11. Salt
  12. Lemon juice 1 lemon.
  13. Oil 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat cooker with oil. Add ginger & garlic paste. Fry for 2 min.
  2. Then add onion , green chillies. & curry leaves. Fry till onions r done.
  3. Then add mutton pieces, along with all Masalas powders & salt & lemon juice. Stir well for 2, 3 , min.
  4. Then add tomatoes. Add 1/2 cup of water.
  5. Close the lid &;cook on putting weight for 10 min. Or according to the time mutton cooks.
  6. When pressure goes. Open lid & Cook till the gravy becomes thick Cook till mutton pieces r well coated with Masalas. Add some curry leaves. Stir well.
  7. Serve hot with rice or any rotis.
