About Tandoori Fish Recipe

This tandoori fish is cooked using salmon fish using convection oven . You can also use microwave or tawa to fry.

Tandoori Fish

Ingredients to make Tandoori Fish

  • Salmon- 4 Pieces
  • To Marinade ;
  • oil - 1 Tbsp
  • Redchilli powder- 1 Tbsp
  • coriander Powder- 2 Tsp
  • turmeric Powder - 1.5 Tsp
  • cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
  • ginger Garlic paste - 2 Tsp
  • Garam masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Black pepper Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • lemon Juice - 1 Tsp
  • Chopped Green Chili - 1 Tsp
  • Chopped curry leaves- Few
  • Rice flour/Corn flour - 1 Tsp
  • salt - 1 Tsp(as per your taste)

How to make Tandoori Fish

  1. Wash the fish and pat it with paper towel to. absorb extra moisture.
  2. Take a Bowl, and mix all the ingredients given in 'to marinate' and make as a paste. Check for spice add if you need anything and mix well.
  3. Apply the marination paste above the fish equally at both sides. Let it marinate for 30-45 minutes. Then only masala goes well into fish.
  4. After 30-45 mintues you can cook in Two ways
  5. If u are cooking in convection oven take a tray and put the aluminum foil above it. Grease some oil above it put the fish pieces.
  6. Preheat the oven for 350 degree f then place the fish tray. Broil for 5 minutes in each sides .

  7. If you cooking in microwave oven in grilling rack brush little oil keep the fish on top of grilling rack. Preheat the oven for 250 degree
  8. Set the microwave oven to grill mode cook for 5-7 minutes both sides
  9. After that Tandoori Fish will be Ready To Serve.

My Tip:

If you cook in tawa , if you cook I tawa put the oil on tawa let it heat. Pour a 1 Tbsp of oil ,In a medium flame shallow fry the fish on both side.Use a tooth pick to check whether fish cook .Cook for 5 Minutes for both sides
Take takes barely 10 minutes  only at medium flame. Tandoori Fish is ready to serve.
