  1. Katla fish...4piece
  2. Potato...3
  3. Onion...1
  4. Ginger garlic paste...1tspn
  5. Chopped tomato...1
  6. Turmeric powder...2tspn
  7. Panch foron seeds...1tspn
  8. Cumin seeds...1tspn
  9. Fennel seeds...1tspn
  10. Coriander seeds...1tspn
  11. Bay leaf...1
  12. Dry red chilli...3
  13. Garam masala powder...1tspn
  14. Red chilli powder...1tspn
  15. Kashmiri red chilli powder...1tspn
  16. Poppy seeds...1tspn
  17. Mustered seeds...1tspn
  18. Mustered oil...1/2cup
  19. Handful of coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Make a paste of cumin, coriander, bay leaf & dry red chilli with little water.
  2. Heat oil & fry potato cubes in it.After that take out from oil.
  3. Fry the fish pieces in the same oil & then take out.
  4. Add panch foron seeds & let it crackle.Add chopped onion & ginger garlic paste.
  5. Add masala paste & chopped tomato.Fry it well & make a smooth mixture.After few minutes add poppy seed_mustered seeds paste & stir it constantly to avoid burning.
  6. Add some hot water & fried potato & let it cook till bubbles comes out.
  7. Add 3tspn of raw mustered oil & cook it for another 5 to 7 minutes.Add garam masala & switch off the flame.
  8. Serve it with hot ghee rice .
