Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. oil 2 tbsp + to fry
  2. Baby potato 9-10
  3. Rock salt to taste
  4. chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Fresh tomato puree 1 cup
  6. ginger chilli paste 1 tsp
  7. cashew paste 1 tbsp
  8. cream 1 tbsp
  9. Chopped coriander 1 tbsp


  1. Wash , peel and prick the potatoes and soak them in salted water for 15 minutes.
  2. Place them on a kitchen towel to dry. Now fry the potatoes till golden brown, keep them aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger chilli paste, cashew paste, cook for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato puree, salt, red chilli and cover the lid. Cook till the oil separates, add fried potatoes and toss in masala, add 1/2 cup of water and cook for a few minutes with lid.
  4. Add cream and garnish with chopped coriander.
