Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fengureek leaves 1/2 cup
  2. Green chilli and ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  3. Multi grain flour 4 tbsp
  4. Bengal gram flour 2 tbsp
  5. Sugar 1 tsp
  6. Boiled Rice 1 cup
  7. Curd 2 tbsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  10. Oil 2 tsp
  11. Sesame seed 1 tsp
  12. Shredded coconut 2 tbsp
  13. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  14. Chopped coriander 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
  2. Grease your hands with a little oil and pinch out dough to make small balls.
  3. Take a steam cooker and steam these balls for about 15 minutes till the toothpick inserted into it come out clean.
  4. Remove and cool a little. Slice them into 1/2 inch thick oval slices.
  5. Take oil in a wok and add mustard seeds, sesame seeds. When they splutter, add the muthias. Garnish with coconut and coriander leaves.
  6. Serve hot with green chutney.
