ABOUT Squid / Calamar Fry RECIPE

Its a very tasty recipe which is served as starters or side dish.Though the cleaning is lenghthy process but worth to try .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Squid - 1 kg(cleaned &chopped into pieces )
  2. Onion - 2 big
  3. Tomato -2 big
  4. Turmeric powder -3/4 tsp
  5. Salt -to taste
  6. Oil - As needed
  7. Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp
  8. Fennel seeds -1 tsp
  9. Curry leaves -1 sprig
  10. Coriander leaves -1 tbsp(finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. *First cook the squid with required water and turmeric powder.Once it cooked drained the water completely .
  2. In a pan heat the oil temper with curry leaves and fennel seeds.Then add the onion.saute it well until it turns transculent.Then add tomato saute until mushy.
  3. Now add red chilli powder ,salt,cooked squid.Mix well .Saute it well in low flame until golden broan.In between add oil to avoid burnt.
  4. *Finally add the coriander leaves and Serve !!
