Sarason kaa Saag

Ingredients to make Sarason kaa Saag

  • Sarason kaa saag 500g
  • Pawlak / Bathua saag 250g
  • butter 100g
  • ginger 50g
  • garlic 8-10cloves
  • Corn flour 1 teaspoon.
  • onion 2nos medium
  • green chillies 4-5nos.
  • salt to taste

How to make Sarason kaa Saag

  1. Wash sarason saag. Cut finely.
  2. Pressure cook till 1 whistle.
  3. When cool, strain water from saag.
  4. Add palak, green chillies, ginger, salt. Again pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  5. When cool, grind in mixie/food processor.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of corn flour paste, mixed with water.
  7. Heat desi ghee in kadhai. Add finely chopped onion, garlic, chillies, ginger to it.
  8. Fry till golden brown.
  9. Add sarason saag mix. Temper with butter.
