Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients to make Gajar ka Halwa

  • carrot 1 kg
  • Full cream milk 1 ltr
  • sugar 500 gms
  • Khoya 250 gms
  • Elachi powder 1 teaspoon
  • Dry fruits chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Kishmish 1/2 tablespoon
  • ghee 2 tablespoon

How to make Gajar ka Halwa

  1. First boil the milk in a thick bottomed pan and after boiling the milk add grated carrots
  2. Continously stirring in between. Stir till all the milk dried up completely.
  3. Now add crumbled khoya and mix Properly
  4. Now put elachi powder
  5. Now add ghee and half of chopped dry fruits
  6. Mix till you see mixture start leaving the sides of the wok
  7. Serve it with dry fruits

My Tip:

You can keep it in the fridge. It will stay for 4-5 days.
