  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded or cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs

How to make Classic Baked Mac and Cheese Cupcakes

  1. COOK MACARONI IN SALTED BOILING WATER AS PER PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS. DRAIN WELL AND KEEP ASIDE.
  2. IN A PAN, ADD BUTTER AND STIR IN FLOUR TO MAKE A ROUX.
  3. ADD MILK TO ROUX SLOWLY, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
  4. ADD CHEESE AND COOK TILL MELTED AND SAUCE GETS THICK.
  5. ADD SALT AND PEPPER.
  6. ADD BOILED MACARONI AND TOSS GENTLY TO COAT ALL MACARONI.
  7. SPOON MACARONI MIXTURE INTO PREPARED MUFFIN CUPS
  8. SPRINKLE WITH DRIED MIXED HERBS
  9. BAKE IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 205'C FOR 8-10 MINUTES.
  10. UNTIL TOP GETS SOME GOLDEN SPOTS.
