ABOUT METHI LEMON CHICKEN with BUTTER MASALA RICE RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken cut into pieces - 750 gm
  2. Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  3. Oil - 2 tablespoons
  4. Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  5. Ginger chopped - 11/2 teaspoon
  6. Onion chopped - 2 large
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  9. Green chilli paste - 1 tablespoons
  10. Kasuri methi - 1 tablespoons
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  13. For Butter Masala Rice
  14. Basmati rice cooked - 1 cup
  15. Butter - 2 tablespoons
  16. Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
  17. Roasted cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  18. Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
  19. Salt to taste
  20. Dry fruits - 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Coat the chicken pieces with the lemon juice and salt to taste . Allow them to marinade overnight .
  2. In a non - stick pan , fry the cumin seeds and ginger for one to two minutes .
  3. Stir in the onions , turmeric powder and Coriander powder .
  4. Add the chilli paste and the juice of half a lemon juice and saute .
  5. Pour in one cup of water to the pan and add the Chicken .
  6. Allow the curry to boil and then turn down the heat .
  7. Add the dry kasuri methi leaves and sugar cover the pan .
  8. Allow it to sit over low heat for half an hour until the chicken is thoroughly cooked .
  9. Remove from the heat and serve with Butter Masala Rice .......
  10. BUTTER MASALA RICE .......
  11. Heat batter in a pan .
  12. Add chopped ginger and fry well .
  13. Then add the dry fruits and fry for 1 minutes .
  14. Now add the cooked rice and toss well .
  15. Add all the spices powder and toss well .
  16. Serve hot and Enjoyyyyyyyyy :relaxed:️:relaxed:️
