Orange Chicken Pickle

Ingredients to make Orange Chicken Pickle

  • Boneless chicken - 500 grams
  • Orange skin - 1 cup
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder - 3 teaspoon
  • vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • oil - 1/4 cup
  • salt - to taste

How to make Orange Chicken Pickle

  1. Clean and wash the chicken. Cut into small pieces.
  2. Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder red chilli powder and salt.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter.
  4. Now add the marinated chicken pieces and cook in a medium flame.
  5. When the chicken becomes tender add the chopped orange skins and simmer it till they are well cooked.
  6. Atlast add vinegar. Switch off the flame.
  7. When they cool downs enjoy with your favourite pulavs or rice.

My Tip:

If you wish you can add half a teaspoon of garam masala too.
