About Dry chicken Recipe

This is a lip-smacking dish.

Dry chicken

Ingredients to make Dry chicken

  • 750 grams chicken
  • 500 gram onion
  • 4 big tomato
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1" ginger
  • 1 pod garlic
  • 1 spoon cumin
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 2 bayleaves
  • 1 piece cinnamon
  • 2 clove
  • 2 spoon coriander powder
  • 1 spoon turmeric
  • 1 and half spoon red chilli powder
  • 1 spoon garam masala powder
  • 1 spoon kasuri methi
  • salt as per taste
  • 4-5 spoon oil
  • 2 spoon chopped coriander leaves

How to make Dry chicken

  1. Clean the chicken and washed it.
  2. Cut the onion in slices.
  3. In mixi jar put ginger, garlic, green chilli and half slices of onion and make a fine paste.
  4. Than cut the tomatoes and also make a puree.
  5. Now heat a pan add oil, cumin, red chilli, bay leaves, clove and cinnamon and let it be red than put remaining slice of onion.
  6. When onion is light brown than add chicken and saute them 5 min.
  7. Than add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder onion garlic ginger paste and tomato puree mix it well.
  8. Mix well and cover it and cook for 30 minutes till the chicken is cooked.
  9. Finally add garam masala, kasuri methi and chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Now dry chicken is ready to serve.
