About Pepper Chicken Recipe

This pepper chicken is prepared using freshly grinded onion tomato paste ,pepper powder and curry leaves.

Pepper Chicken

Ingredients to make Pepper Chicken

  • For onionTomato Paste
  • onion - 1 (Medium )
  • tomato - 2 medium
  • coconut - 2 Tbsp Grated
  • Chili powder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  • garlic - 2 pods (5 If Small)
  • To cook
  • chicken - 500 grams
  • fennel seeds - 1 Tsp
  • curry leaves - handful
  • Sesame oil - 2 tbsp
  • pepper powder - 1 tbsp
  • turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
  • salt - 1.5 Tsp (To Taste)

How to make Pepper Chicken

  1. First we have to grind onion tomato paste for that have to roast all ingredients under “For onion tomato paste”
  2. Heat a kadai add 2 Tsp oil sauté onion tomato well.
  3. Add garlic & ginger mix well
  4. Add Redchilli powder, coriander powder mix well
  5. Add grated coconut mix well and switch off the flame
  6. Let it cool completely then grind into smooth paste .
  7. In a heated kadai add 2 Tbsp seasame oil then add fennel seeds roast well .
  8. Add Chicken sauté well add turmeric powder, salt mix well add pepper powder 2 Tsp
  9. Add curry leaves mix well next add the grinded onion tomato paste mix throughly
  10. Add 1/4 cup water stir well close the lid and cook for 10 minutes open the lid stir well occasionally.
  11. Let Gravy simmer well add 2 Tsp pepper powder mix throughly.
  12. When oil started to float at top and side switch off the flame
  13. Pepper Chicken Ready Serve with rice , parotta, Biryani, Pulao, idly , dosa and chappathi
