We ate many types of samosas but i make mushroom samosa first time and it is extremely delicious and yummy.

Matar Mushroom Samosa

Ingredients to make Matar Mushroom Samosa

  • 1.5 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp carrom seeds
  • water as per required
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup chop onion
  • 2 cup chop mushroom
  • 2 tbsp boiled peas
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 boiled potato
  • coriander leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp haldi
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • oil for frying

How to make Matar Mushroom Samosa

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS, SAUTE FOR 2 MINS
  2. ADD 2 TBSP BOILED PEAS, 1 TSP GINGER PASTE, SAUTE
  3. ADD 2 CUPS CHOPPED MUSHROOMS
  4. ADD SALT, 1 TSP RED CHILLI, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  5. ADD 1 TSP GARAM MASALA, SAUTE
  6. ADD 1 TSP FRESH LEMON JUICE
  7. ADD 1 BOILED POTATO, MIX WELL
  8. MASH ALL THE VEGGIES & COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
  9. PUNCH & ROLL OUT THE READY DOUGH
  10. TAKE A CONICAL MOULD, WRAP & COVER IT WITH THE DOUGH LIKE THIS
  11. PLACE THE READY VEGGIE FILLLING IN THE CENTRE
  12. CLOSE THE LID, PRESS DOWN
  13. FILL & SHAPE ALL THE SAMOSAS
  14. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  15. SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP OR CHUTNEY ON THE SIDE
