  • Milk 1cup
  • egg 1
  • Powder sugar 3tbsp
  • cinnamon powder 1/4tsp
  • salt 1/4tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1/4tsp
  • all purpose flour 1/2cup
  • Baking powder 1tsp
  • Crushed cornflakes 3cup
  • Mixed Jam 5 tsp
  • butter 3tbsp
  • Bread 10

How to make Cornflakes crusted French Toast with Jam

  1. CUT BREAD INTO A ROUND SHAPE WITH A CUTTER
  2. IN A BOWL WHISK EGG, SUGAR POWDER AND ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  3. ADD CINNAMON POWDER AND SALT
  4. ADD BAKING POWDER AND WHISK ALL TOGETHER
  5. ADD MILK AND WHISK TOGETHER TILL THE BATTER IS SMOOTH
  6. NOW ADD VANILLA ESSENCE AND MIX AGAIN
  7. APPLY ANY JAM ON A BREAD SLICE AND COVER WITH THE OTHER ROUND BREAD SLICE
  8. HEAT BUTTER ON A NON STICK PAN
  9. DIP THE PREPARED BREAD IN THE BATTER AND ROLL GENEROUSLY IN CRUSHED CORNFLAKES CRUMB
  10. APPLY CRUMB PROPERLY ALL OVER
  11. FRY ON MEDIUM HEAT ON BOTH SIDES
  12. FRY ON BOTH SIDES TILL GOLDEN
