Puttu kadala curry

Ingredients to make Puttu kadala curry

  • Black chana 1 cup
  • red chilly 4 numbers
  • coriander seeds 2 tablespoon
  • coconut grated 2 tablespoon
  • onion 1 cubed
  • tomato 1/2 cubed
  • cloves 2 numbers
  • cardamom 2 numbers
  • fennel seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoon
  • Chamba puttu flour 2 cups
  • coconut grated 1 cup
  • salt

How to make Puttu kadala curry

  1. CORIANDER SEEDS,COCONUT,RED CHILLY,TOMATO ONION,FENNEL,CLOVES,CARDAMOM DRY FRY AND GRIND FINELY
  2. IT SHOULD BE A FINE PASTE
  3. COOK SOAKED BLACK CHANA SOFTLY
  4. IN A PAN MIX CHANA AND GROUND PASTE AND ADD WATER AND COOK WELL
  5. GARNISH WITH CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
  6. TAKE CHAMBA PUTTU FLOUR,ADD SALT COCONUT AND MIX WELL
  7. SPRINKLE WATER AND RUB FLOUR BETWEEN FINGERS
  8. IF THE BALL DOESN'T BREAK THE CONSISTENCY IS CORRECT
  9. TAKE A COCONUT SHELL AND PUT HOLE IN IT TO SUIT THE NOSTLE OF COOKER
  10. CHECK IT
  11. PUT A TABLESPOON COCONUT IN IT AND FILL WITH FLOUR
  12. PLACE IT IN A STEAM RISING COOKER NOSTLE AND CLOSE IT WITH A LID
  13. COOK IT FOR FIVE MINUTES OR UNTIL STEAM COMES OUT OF THE LID
  14. SERVE HOT WITH KADALA CURRY
