About Seekh ka Saalan Recipe

Seekh ka Saalan

Ingredients to make Seekh ka Saalan

  • For Sheekh Kabab, 1/2 kg Mutton mince
  • 1 medium sized onion nicely chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 3 green chillies nicely chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh corriender nicely chopped
  • 1 tsp mint leaves nicely chopped
  • 1 tsp coarsaly grounded ginger
  • 1 tsp corasaly grounded garlic
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp roasted besan
  • 3/4 tsp salt or as per taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • For Gravy, 3 to 4 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cardamom
  • 4 to 6 peppercorns
  • 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp corriender powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 tomato
  • 5 to 8 cashew nuts
  • 75 to 80 gram curd
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking

How to make Seekh ka Saalan

  1. Take mutton mince in a mixer jar and grind till smooth
  2. Now transfer in a bowl add all seekh masala and salt in it and mix well
  3. Now take skeevers and arrange the mutton mix as seekh kabab in the skeevers
  4. Now pour butter in grilled pan and grilled it till half done
  5. When done keep aside
  6. First roast the onion till it soft add cashew nuts and fry both
  7. Now separate from hot oil to cool
  8. When it's cool add tomato and curd and make paste and keep aside it
  9. Now again heat oil add whole masala and roast for 10 seconds
  10. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute
  11. Now add one by one red chilli, corriender, cumin,black Pepper and stir till raw smell gone
  12. Now add roasted seekh kabab in it and coated all kababs with masala
  13. Then add roasted cashew and onion paste and mix well
  14. Add required amount of water and cook for 10 minutes on low flame
  15. When go to final add some fresh chopped corriender and mix well (adjust salt according to taste)
  16. Now burn a charcoal piece and place it in a bn bowl and pour some butter over it and closed the lid and leave it for 5 minutes
  17. Now Seekh ka Saalan is ready to serve
  18. Serve hot with roti or naan, Garnish with some corriender and mint leaves and with onion rings
