ABOUT Pinni RECIPE

The pinni is prepared by tossing wheat flour with ghee and sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 500 gms urad dal (split black lentils)
  2. 1 tsp grated mava (khoya)
  3. 1 tsp powdered almonds (badam)
  4. 3 tsp sugar syrup
  5. 1 tbsp ghee
  6. 5 almonds (badam)

Instructions

  1. Soak urad dhal for 5-6 hours and grind with water.
  2. Heat ghee in a shallow pan.
  3. Add urad dhal to it and keep on low flame.
  4. Stir continuously till it becomes light brown.
  5. Add khoya to it and mix thoroughly.
  6. Add powdered almonds.
  7. Add sugar syrup and cardomom powder.
  8. Stir continuously.
  9. Allow it to cool.
  10. Make balls out of it with a depression on the top.
  11. Garnish with badam on top of each pinni.

you have mentioned that pinni is prepared by using atta but in the recipie you have given urd dhall powder
