ABOUT KEEMA PAV RECIPE

Keema pav is the most commonest breakfast/brunch made at my place. I prefer serving this yummy, lipsmacking keema with parathas but the ideal partner is pav always. Squeeze a bit of lemon and bite of eaw onion & green chilli takes this dish to new level. So here is my version of the Mumbai ka World famous keema pav for breakfast

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton mince 250grams, wash once & drain off excess water
  2. 1/2 cup fresh/frozen green peas
  3. 2 medium onion, finely chopped
  4. 1 large tomato , finely chopped
  5. 3 green chillies, finely chopped
  6. 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  10. 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
  11. 3 tablespoon oil
  12. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  13. 2 Bay Leaves
  14. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  15. Handful of washed & chopped dill, coriander & mint leaves

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL IN A PAN
  2. TO THIS ADD BAY LEAVES, CUMIN SEEDS & CINNAMON STICK. ALLOW IT TO CRACKLE FOR 30 SECONDS
  3. NEXT ADD CHOPPED ONION
  4. SAUTE UNTIL IT TURNS GOLDEN
  5. ADD THE CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  6. GINGER GARLIC PASTE. SAUTE FOR A MINUTE
  7. NOW ADD THE CHOPPED TOMATOES
  8. TURMERIC POWDER
  9. RED CHILLI POWDER
  10. & SALT
  11. MIX WELL & SAUTE UNTIL TOMATIES TURN PULPY
  12. TOMATOES ARE DONE NOW & OIL IS SEPARATING FROM THE MASALA
  13. ADD THE MUTTON MINCE
  14. SAUTE THIS ON A HIGH FLAME FOR 2 MINUTES
  15. THEN ADD THE FROZEN PEAS & MIX
  16. ADD 1 CUP WATER & BRING IT TO A BOIL
  17. ONCE IT STARTS TO BOIL, COVER & COOK FOR ABOUT 18-20 MINUTES
  18. OUR KEEMA IS PERFECTLY DONE
  19. ADD A DASH OF GARAM MASALA
  20. AND CHOPPED CORIANDER, MINT & DILL LEAVES
