Ingredients to make Dal vada

  • 2 cup Bengal gram
  • 1 tbsp chilli, garlic, ginger pest
  • Chopped onion 1
  • salt to taste

How to make Dal vada

  1. SOAK THE DAL IN WATER FOR 1 TO 2 HOURS. THEN, DRAIN THE WATER COMPLETELY AND ADD IN SOME SALT.
  2. IN A MIXER-GRINDER, COARSELY WORK UP THE DAL AND THEN, TRANSFER INTO A BOWL
  3. ADD 1 TBSP GARLIC, CHILLI,GINGER PEST
  4. ADD ONION
  5. ADD SALT TO TEST
  6. NOW, HEAT OIL IN A KADHAI AND PLOP SMALL BALLS OF THE DAL DOUGH INTO IT.
  7. KEEP FRYING TILL THEY HAVE TURNED GOLDEN AND CRISP
  8. PLACE THEM ON A KITCHEN PAPER TOWEL TO DRAIN OFF ANY EXCESS OIL.
  9. SERV HOT
