Ingredients to make Healthy Dumplings (Moong, Carrot and Rava)

  • moong dal 1/4 cup to be soaked
  • carrot 1 cup
  • Grated coconut / Mango 2 tbsp
  • Rava 1 cup
  • To temper
  • oil
  • mustard
  • green chillies 3 finely chopped
  • jeera
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • hing

How to make Healthy Dumplings (Moong, Carrot and Rava)

  1. SOAK 1/4 CUP MOONG DAL FOR 10 MINUTES
  2. DRY ROAST 1 CUP RAVA AND SET ASIDE
  3. ADD OIL. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW TO CRACK.
  4. SAUTE 3 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  5. ADD 1/2 TSP JEERA
  6. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  7. ADD SOAKED MOONG DAL. SAUTE FOR 3 MINUTES
  8. ADD 1 CUP GRATED CARROT. SAUTE
  9. ADD GRATED COCONUT / MANGO (OPTIONAL) AND CORIANDER LEAVES
  10. ADD HING AND REQUIRED SALT
  11. ADD ROASTED RAVA. MIX
  12. ADD 2 CUPS OF WATER. COOK TILL WATER GETS AVSORBED
  13. MAKE SMALL DUMPLINGS TO STEAM COOK
  14. STEAM COOK DUMPLINGS IN PREHEATED STEAMER
  15. STEAM COOK FOR 10 MINUTES
  16. HEALTHY AND TASTY DUMPLINGS READY
