About Murg Malai Tikka Recipe

A mildly spiced juicy starter

Murg Malai Tikka

Ingredients to make Murg Malai Tikka

  • 250 gms of boneless chicken
  • garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • 1 cup slightly sour cream
  • 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tsp coarsely grounded black pepper
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tsp butter
  • Chopped coriander to garnish

How to make Murg Malai Tikka

  1. Wash and clean the chicken.
  2. Add all the ingredients except ghee and marinade the chicken.
  3. Refrigerate it for atleast 3-4 hours preferably overnight.
  4. Set up the tandoor and bring the chicken at room temperature.
  5. Mix butter in it.
  6. Now pierce the chicken cubes in the skewers and put them in the tandoor.
  7. Keep rotating at regular intervals so that the chicken gets cooked equally from all the sides.
  8. Once done garnish them with coriander and some sour cream.
  9. Serve hot.

My Tip:

A little bit brushing of butter in the midst of baking will help the tikkas to remain juicy .
