Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sabut Urad Daal 1 bowl
  2. rajma 1/2 bowl
  3. Milk 1 +1/2 glass
  4. cream 1 tbsp
  5. onion 2 finely chopped
  6. tomatoes puree of 4
  7. Green chillies 5 chopped
  8. Makhani daal masala 3 teaspoon
  9. ginger paste 1 teaspoon
  10. salt as per taste
  11. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  12. ghee 1 tablespoon
  13. cumin whole 1 teaspoon
  14. hing a pinch
  15. butter as per taste


  1. Wash and soak daal and rajma for six hours
  2. Put two times more water in cooker than to daal and rajma and 1/2 spoon salt and let it whistle for 5_6 times
  3. Now put milk and boil daal with lid open for few minutes
  4. Now take a wok put ghee, put heeng and jeera and let it crackle
  5. Now add Ginger paste saute it put onions let it be brown and then tomato paste saute it
  6. Now add Makhni daal masala, garam masala
  7. If required add little water
  8. Now add little butter and let it cook
  9. Now put it in a serving pot put creme, butter and coriander leaves

I am allergic to ghee so can I use butter?
