Kofta is a dumpling made with pneer vegetables ..but in punjab lauki kofta is a famous dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For kofta---Lauki(bootleguard)1/2kg
  2. Besan one bowl
  3. Salt 1/2tsp
  4. Turmaric 1/2tsp
  5. Red chiily powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Oil for brushing appe pan
  7. For gravy
  8. Three midium size onion
  9. Ginger galic paste 2tsp
  10. Green chilly 2
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Tumaric 1/2 tsp
  13. Red chilly powder 1/2 tsp
  14. Garm masala 1 tsp
  15. Cumin seed 1tsp
  16. Coriender leaves for garnishing
  17. Tomatoes 3-4
  18. Oil for tempring 4_5tsp
  19. Water as required fir gravy

Instructions

  1. Get all ingredients ready and grate laugh in a bowl add besan salt red chilly turmeric and mix it and make thick better
  2. Now heat appe pan and grease it
  3. Now pour the better in appe pan and make kofta.. Flip the Kofta after five minutes and bake it other side with brushing little oil on it
  4. Now prepare gravy.. In a wok take oil and prepare tempring for gravy.. Add cumin seed and ginger garlic paste and saute it then add onion paste saute till Golden brown.. Then add salt turmaric red chilly and garm masala and tomato puree in it add some water.. Bring it boil now add Kofta in it and boil for five minutes.. Cover the lid.. Kofta curry is ready to serve with roti.. Garnish it with coriender leaves
