About Doi potol Recipe

It is Bengali dish. The pointed groud cook with curd.it is very healthy in summer .

Ingredients to make Doi potol

  • Pointed gourd 2 pieces
  • cardamom 1 piece
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • salt as your taste
  • sugar 1 spoon
  • Roasted chana dal powder 1 spoon
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • Kishmish 4-5
  • Dry red chilli 1 for decoration

How to make Doi potol

  1. 1. Firstly wash the pointed gourd.
  2. 2.then peel the whole pointed gourd
  3. 3. fry the cardamon and pointed gourd.
  4. 4. Whisk the curd salt and sugar.
  5. 5. Mix roasted chana dal powder.
  6. 6. Mix the chilli powder in it.
  7. 7. Then the curd mixture and Kishmish add into the fry pointed gourd.
  8. 8.boil for few minutes.
  9. 9. When the oil up in dish then switch of gas and serve it with a fried red chilli.
  10. 10.serve with rice.
