Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bhindi/lady finger(slit and cut into big pieces) 250g
  2. Tamarind/imli pulp 1tsp
  3. Onions 3 medium
  4. Oil 2tblsp
  5. Mustard seeds 1tsp
  6. Curry leaves 6-7
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Coriander powder 3tsp
  10. Red chilli powder 2tsp
  11. Roasted & crushed peanuts 2tblsp
  12. Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
  13. Few strips of ginger for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Cut onions into big cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a non stick pan.add mustard seeds and let them splutter
  3. Add onions and curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  4. Add lady fingers and mix well
  5. Now add in turmeric powder,coriander and red chilli powder.cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add tamarind pulp and mix well.add a lityle water cover and continue to cook for 5 minutes.sprinkle garam masala.
  7. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with ginger strips.
